Private Business Radios operate on either VHF or, UHF radio frequencies that is issued and co-ordinated by Ofcom. In order to transmit on these frequencies, you are required to have a license issued by Ofcom. There are benefits of a licensed frequency such as:

1. Larger range (due to the higher transmit power from the radios or base stations used )
2. Less interference from other users

These frequencies are allocated to businesses only, on a case-by-case basis. Once your licence has been issued and a frequency allocated, we can programme them into your radios.

• Most licence fees are - £75 per annum
